What's coming next from AJ Tracey?

London Rapper, AJ Tracey, quickly rose to fame in the UK after releasing his debut album Ladbroke Grove in 2019.

Tracy confirmed at the end of January that he had finished his second album. He has not yet given a date for when this will be released.

So what can we expect from this new album?

Some impressive collaborations I think. Previously, AJ Tracey has worked with the likes of Aitch, Mabel and Skepta. All of whom, are considered top talents in the music industry. I expect we will see some more big names featured in the upcoming album.

Personally, I have found all of Tracey's singles to be upbeat and catchy. It's the kind of music you would want to hear at a festival. Whether or not this next album will carry the same style is still unknown.

Tracey recently teamed up with Digga D for their latest single Bringing it Back. This was released on the 4th February and has already reached 4.5 million views on YouTube. The drill song sees the verses alternating seamlessly between Tracey and Digga D.

What has been made clear is his ability to adapt and move between different styles like grime, garage and trap.

His songs also tend to have strong meanings or sentiment behind them. For instance, in his hit song Ladbroke Grove, he looks back on his life in his hometown.

I think we should expect another top of the chart album.

For now, we will just have to wait for the release date announcement.
